Northwest Athletics Coronavirus Update/Practice Info Update 3/13/20

Effective today (Friday 3/13), starting at 9:00pm through Sunday April 5th there WILL NOT be any practices, activities, scrimmages, games, meetings, etc. with any athletic teams/players. That includes all Spring 2020 teams and any athletes from Fall, Winter or Spring Sports.  NO practices, training, etc. at all Northwest facilities and grounds. 3 Mountie Bowlers Advance to Sweet 16

3 Mountie bowlers advanced to the round of 16 today at the MHSAA Individual tournament. Brayden Metcalf qualified 12th and Ryan Wenman qualified 15th but unfortunately both lost in their first round matches. Kaylee Hall qualified in 3rd place and won her first match 325-316. Tonight: Northwest Recognizes Bowling, Wrestling & Volleyball Accomplishments

Tonight – Tuesday, March 3, 2020 –  during the half-time of the Varsity Boys’ Basketball Game, the NW Athletic Dept. will be recognizing the accomplishments of our NW Bowlers, Wrestlers & Volleyball Players.  We have had a successful Fall & Winter Season with these athletes and we invite everyone to come out & help us

NW Boys’/Girls’ Bowling Finish with 9 All-Conference Bowlers

It was a great day at the I-8 Conference Singles Tournament. We had 9 bowlers come away with honors. (Sat. 2/22) For the Girls, Kaylee Hall took first place for the Varsity Girls and by doing so, earned All-Conference! Gabby Grant finished 12th, Karrah Wiggins 13th and Olivia Tisch 14th, each earning All- Conference Honorable Mention.

NW Bowlers Celebrate Their Seniors

Wrapped up our regular season tonight (2/20)!! Celebrated our Seniors!!! Celebrated Boys Conference Champs 2020!!! Time to get back to work as we head to I-8 Conference singles on Saturday (2/22) and MHSAA Regionals next weekend (2/28-2/29)!!! #MOUNTIENATION #MOUNTIEBOWLING

Boys’ Bowling Team – I-8 CONFERENCE CHAMPS

It was an important day for both squads as we traveled to Coldwater (2/11) to battle the always tough Cardinals. A win for the Boys would secure a second consecutive conference championship and the Girls needed a win to stay alive in the race. The Boys took care of business by winning both team games
