Wednesday, 12/13-All Games/Practices Canceled

Due to weather conditions, ALL High School and Middle School games and practices are canceled for Wednesday, 12/13. Students must go home after school. High School Wrestling match with Hastings will be made up on Friday, 12/15 with JV’s starting at 5:45 and Varsity at 6:00pm at Northwest HS. No make up date for MS

8th Gr. Boys’ Basketball Sweeps Pennfield

The KMS 8th Grade Black Basketball Team improved to 7 – 3 on the season with win at Pennfield 56 – 46.  Northwest shot the ball extremely well on the road, with SIX different players nailing three-pointers and 8 of 11 players dressed for game scoring.  Coach’s Awards go to Javier Campbell, Damein Milliman, Nolan

8th Gr. Boys’ Basketball splits with Western

The KMS 8th Grade Black Basketball Team lost a tough game at Western 50 – 53.  The Mounties fell behind early giving up the first 8 points of the game.  However they fought back and trailed by just one point, 22 – 23 at halftime.  An 18 point Mountie third quarter behind 5 points each

8th Gr. Boys’ Basketball Teams split w/ Coldwater

The KMS 8th Grade Black Basketball Team fell to 6 – 2 with a loss to league leading Coldwater on the road, 38 – 44.  However, Northwest fought VALIANTLY and had a 24 – 19 half-time lead – – – and led 33 – 31 after three quarters, thanks to a feisty man-to-man press.  Coldwater

The KMS 8th Grade Black and Red Basketball Teams invaded Marshall – – – who only had close losses to league leading and undefeated Coldwater – – – and left with two victories to improve to 5 – 1 and 4 – 2 respectively on the season.  The black game was close the entire game
