Varsity Football loses to Western 32-10

In their final CAAC Gold Division matchup, the Varsity Football team lost to rival Western 32-10. Noah Olmsted led the passing attack with 162 yards passing while Connor Piepkow added 52 rushing yards despite not playing the second half. Varsity Volleyball defeats Mason 3-2

Freshman Lexi Kuhn helped Jackson Northwest’s attack in a back-and-forth match on the road. 7th Grade Football defeats Western

Freshman Volleyball loses to Mason

The freshman girls lost a hard fought match to Mason. Losing game 1 25-12 and regrouping to win Game 2 25-23 and falling 15-13 in a very exciting 3rd Game. The girls finish 5-1 in the conference and all the girls contributed in this back and forth battle!

JV Volleyball defeats Mason

Tonight the Lady Mounties took on the Mason Bulldogs. They won in three well played games with the scores of the games being 25-23, 17-25 and 15-13. The Mounties were lead by Michaela Taylor who had 5 aces. Taylor Owens and Sydney Vernier each contributed 10 digs while Madison Howe had 8 kills.

Varsity Soccer defeats Stockbridge

In the 7th place game of the second division of the CAAC Cup, the Varsity Soccer team defeated Stockbridge 5-0 Wednesday. They now wait to play in District action Tuesday at 5:30 at Lansing SextonHigh School.

Boys Cross Country splits

The boys cross country defeated Western but lost to Mason in a tri meet at Western tonight. Ben Woodruff led the Mounties with a 4th place finish while Kory Iott and Alex Bliss finished 8th and 9th respectively. Lucas Laher finished 11th overall. A nice effort from the boys squad.

Girls Cross Country wins two more.

The girls cross country team defeated Mason and Western tonight in a tri meet at Western. Jessica Delaney led the Mounties with a 2nd place finish followed by Kaitlyn Arnold in 3rd and Taylor Roberts 4th. In addition Haley Nugent finished 8th and Kaelyn Madery finished 10th. A nice day overall for the Mounties.

JV Boys soccer ties Jackson

The JV boys soccer team tied Jackson High tonight 0-0. The JV finished the season with a record of 6-6-3.
