JV Football finishes 7-1-1

The JV football team defeated Dexter 41-19 last night to cap a terrific 7-1-1 season. Leading the way offensively last night was Rodney Stevenson with 4 TD runs. We would like to congratulate the players and coaches for a fine season and we look forward to their hard work in the off season in preparation

Varsity Volleyball loses to Dewitt

The Varsity Volleyball team ran into a tough Dewitt squad Thursday and lost 3-0. They now await the loser of the Portland/Okemos match next Tuesday.

Boys Soccer defeats Waverly, advance to District Finals!

The Boys Soccer team defeated Waverly 3-0 in District action last night advancing to the District finals at 12pm on Saturday at Spring Arbor University. Scoring for the Mounties were Bryce Hoornstra, Garrett McCord and Jon Duchaine. Anthony Jones added the shutout in goal. Come join the Mounties in their quest for a District Title.

Girls Golf Qualify for the State Finals for 4th Straight Year!!!!

The Girls Golf team finished second at the Regional in Linden today shooting a score of 374, 1 stroke behind Regional Champ Chelsea. Leading scorers for the Mounties were: Kelsey Gough 84, Ashley Carney 92, Dori Watts 99, Kylie Gough 99, Allie Lefere 99. Kelsey Gough’s 84 was the second best round of the day.

High School Fall Sports Awards Program will be held on Thursday, 11/8. It will start with refreshments in the Cafeteria at 6:30, with the program beginning at 7:00 in the gymnasium. It had to be changed due to the District Wide facilities meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 7

7th Grade Football defeats Parkside

The 7th Grade Football Team played their final game of the season last night (10/17/12) against Parkside MS.  Parkside came to play & didn’t give up… but the Mounties were able to come out with a win.  The final score was 70-36.. leaving the 7th Grade Football Team with the first undefeated season in years

Middle School Cross Country

The MS X-Country Team competed at the Hanover-Horton Invite on Tues. 10/16/12 to finish out their season.  The Boys 7th/8th Grade Team finished 4th out of 12 with Logan Frewen leading the team in 10th place followed by Austin Richmond in 12th & Joey Dodge in 13th.  The Girls 7th/8th Grade was led by Jenna Sorenson who finished 36th with a

The 8th grade volleyball team lost a great match against Lansing Christian last night (10/17/12).  The scores were: 16-21, 11-21, and 21-18.  Top servers were: Lauren Howe with 8 pts. and Nicole Keeder with 6 pts.  They had some amazing attacks Malorie Zonts and Kennedy Wait both had 2 while Bridget Kerns and Nicole Pier
