Cheer Wins at Leslie Competition

The Varsity cheer team, led by seniors Rebecca Hitt and Kortani Wilcox, won first place at the Leslie invitational competition. The girls overcame Leslie, Springport, Maple Valley, and Grass Lake. The team accomplished first place through all three rounds of the competition. In the end, the team brought back a trophy to be proud of. The 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team lost to Western last night (12/12/12)… 33-48, ending the regular season with a record of 2-8.  Cade DeDoes came off the bench to contribute some valuable minutes and collecting a basket and a few key rebounds.  Devyn Garner had 10 points and several rebounds.  Austin Richmond had 4 points

Last night, the Varsity boys’ basketball team lost to Onsted. With a final score of 47-51, the game was close. The Mounties gave a strong effort throughout with Sophomore Riley Horsch with the leading score of 11 points, followed by Senior Shaquille Greene’s 10 points, and a contribution of 8 more from Junior Malik Greene.
