JV Girls Basketball defeats East Jackson

The JV girls’ BBall team beat E. Jackson Tuesday night 47-41 with a balanced scoring attack led by Michaela Taylor with 10 pts, Alyssa Stull and Sarah Gwinn each had 9 pts, Maddie Perrin tossed in 8 points and Tyriah Pryor added 6.  The Mounties played solid team defense creating 12 steals and 2 blocks.

Last night, the Freshmen boys’ basketball team lost to rival Lumen Christi 60-34. The young mounties started out with a strong first half and were only down 9-5 after the first quarter. Last night, the boys’ JV basketball team won a hard fought game against rival Lumen 59-58. With 5 seconds to go, Tony Fonseca stole the ball and passed it to Kegan McMichael for a game winning three pointer at the buzzer. The Mounties improve there record to 9-4.  

Kelsey Gough Signs With JCC!!

Kelsey Gough has signed a scholarship offer to continue her education and golf playing career at Jackson Community College. Congrats to Kelsey and her family along with her coaches Martha Cantlin and Jill Lefere. We look forward to seeing her play next year for the Jets.

Varsity Girls & Boys Bowling Defeat Eaton Rapids
