Varsity Wrestling finishes 2nd in the Plainwell Invit.

The Varsity Wrestling team finished 2nd at the Plainwell Invit. on Saturday finishing the day 4-1. The Mounties defeated Plainwell 60-12, St Joseph 60-12, Coloma 58-12, and Battle Creek Lakeview “B” 48-30. Their only loss was to eventual Champion Muskegeon Reeths Puffer. The Varsity cheer team, led by seniors Rebecca Hitt and Kortani Wilcox, won first place at the Leslie invitational competition. The girls overcame Leslie, Springport, Maple Valley, and Grass Lake. The team accomplished first place through all three rounds of the competition. In the end, the team brought back a trophy to be proud of.
