Girls Bowling defeats Lumen Christi 28-2

The Mounties defeated Lumen Christi 28-2 behind some great bowling. Sabrina Yearling had a 232, Sierra Lasky a 224, Taylor Dempsey a 223, Mandy Kingsbury a 215, and Mikki Mathews a 211. They return to action tonight vs Western at 3:30.

Varsity Boys Basketball get first win!!

The Varsity Boys Basketball team earned their first win by defeating Charlotte 60-51 Tuesday. Austin Snyder led the scoring with 12 pts while making 6 free throws. Riley Horsch had 9 pts and 4 assists while Noah Olmsted an Blake Ryan added 8 pts each. Rounding out the scoring was Malik Greene and Shaquille Greene

Varsity Girls Basketball defeats Charlotte

The Varsity Girls Basketball team defeated Charlotte on Tuesday 64-54. The Mounties were led by Ashley Bunker with 22 pts and 7 rebounds. Lexi Khon added 18 pts and 13 rebounds. Rounding out the scoring was Emma Bearinger with 7, Haley Nugent with 6 pts and 3 assists,  Miranda McCafferty with 4 pts, Taylor Roberts

JV Girls Basketball defeats Charlotte in OT

The JV girls basketball team defeated Charlotte 54-51 in OT on Tuesday. Hadleigh Buchler has a career high 16 points and 12 rebounds. Michaela Taylor added 12 points while Sarah Gwinn had 11 points and 4 rebounds, 5 steals, and 5 assists. Tyriah Pryor had 8 assists and 3 points. They return to action Thursday

Boys Bowling sweeps Eaton Rapids

The Varsity Boys Bowling team won their match last night 30 to 0 against Eaton Rapids. Trevor Simmons won 2 matches and bowled a 200 game, Chris Salkowski won 1 match, Paul Foor won 1 match and bowled a 223 game, John Hurosky won 2 matches and bowled a 200 game & a 203, Brian Lewis won 2 matches and bowled a 214 game, Cory Daniels won 2

Competitive Cheerleading Places Third

Northwest competitive cheerleading girls, led by seniors Katelyn Loomis and Rebecca Hitt, fought hard and earned a solid score in all three rounds at Mason High School. With minor mistakes, the girls stayed in third place throughout the competition, while Charlotte placed first and Mason second. The next competition will be held at Leslie High School on Saturday, Janurary 12 at 10:00
