JV Soccer loses to Jackson High

The JV soccer team suffered a tough defeat to J-high on Saturday 6-0.  The team is looking to make this a game to learn some lessons from.

Girls Track 7th at Chelsea Relays

The girls track team finished 7th in the Chelsea Relays on Thursday.  Haley Nugent led the way jumping 5′ in high jump, for her 2nd consecutive meet doing so, as the high jump team Haley, Kelly Donnelly and Dori Watts placed 3rd.  Also finishing 3rd was the Long jump Relay team of Jameshia Suddeth, Savannah Jenkins

Boys Golf Wins Again!! Defeat Eaton Rapids

Northwest gets win over Eaton Rapids in first league match of the season 192-205.  The Mounties were led by, senior, Tyler Seamans with 42.  Alec Richmond overcame a very rough start to come in with 49, while, junior, Mitchell Kops shot 51 and, freshman, Austin Richmond 52.  The Mounties are now 2-0 to start the season.  Their next action

JV Girls Soccer Defeats Eaton Rapids

After a relinquishing 2 early goals, the JV soccer team scored four unanswered goals to defeat Eaton Rapids 4-2.  Mallory Zonts, Casey Toland, Nicole Pier and Allison Panic all scored goals for the Mounties.  Tiffany Jones added an assist.  Their record is now 1-1.

The JV soccer team lost it’s first game of the season to Dansville 3-2.  The Mounties’ trailed 3-0 in he second, but the comeback fell short.  Scoring for the Mounties were Casey Toland and Allison Panic. They return to action on Wednesday vs Eaton Rapids at 5pm at Northwest.

JV Softball Sweeps Harper Creek

The JV softball team came ready to play Monday night against the Beavers of Harper Creek.  The Mounties took game 1 with a total score of 13-4 with the help of pitcher Kennedy Wait’s 8 strikeouts.  Leading the boards offensively was 3rd baseman Lauren Howe going 3 for 5 with 3 singles and a hit by pitch,
