Jackson Northwest fell to host Eaton Rapids 89-48 and to Charlotte 85.5-51.5 in dual meet action at the CAAC Gold tri-meet hosted by the Greyhounds Tuesday. The Varsity Soccer team lost to Holt last night 3-0. The JV Soccer team lost to Holt 2-0 by giving up two goals in the final 3 minutes of the game. Both teams return to action Thursday at Northwest when they host Coldwater.

Varsity Baseball Loses 2 to Lansing Catholic

Lansing Catholic Central’s baseball team took advantage of a Jackson Northwest club which has managed just five outdoor practices to sweep the Mounties 10-2 and 8-2 on Tuesday. Jackson Northwest managed only one hit, a single by Drew Galloway, in the opener. In the second game, the Mounties Matt Perfitt homered and Tyler Onda doubled.

Northwest has opened its season with a victory over Adrian 5-3 Tuesday night at Adrian College.
