Girls Varsity Track & Field · HS Girls’ Track Loses Tough Match Against Hastings

It was a tough loss for the HS Girls’ Track & Field team vs. Hastings.  However, several athletes contributed to putting points on the board.  Aspen Tapley brought home a 1st place finish in the 800 meter run, along with leading off the winning 4×400 meter relay team (Aspen Tapley, Lainey Reynolds, Keturah Pustay and Destiny Berry).  Aspen Tapley also took 2nd in pole vault.  Destiny Berry had another great performance, winning the shot put and anchoring the winning 4×400 meter relay.  She took 2nd in discus.  Trenidy Halm ran for a personal record, winning the 400 meter dash.  She placed 2nd in high jump and placed 4th in the 200 meter dash.  Additional point earners were Christianna Lindley taking 3rd place in the 1600 meter run, Lainey Reynolds taking 3rd in the 100 meter dash, Cadence Schuette taking 3rd in the long jump, and Tristin Brown taking 4th place in the 100 meter dash.  In addition to placing, several athletes turned in personal or season records!

The Girls’ Track & Field team heads to Lakeview this Friday.  Go Mounties!
