The Northwest Boys’ Golf Team got their second win in match vs. East Jackson at Hankerd Hills
They played much better at home on Wednesday in a solid win against East Jackson 188-222. They dropped 20 strokes in one day, playing on the more familiar home course despite the chillier weather.
Junior, Logan Hilder, matched his career personal best 9-hole score of 39 to lead the Mounties. Sophomore, Brenden Borowy came in with a round of 45, Freshman, Isaac Anuszkiewicz posted a 49 and Junior, Marec Sackrider added the fourth score of 55. Senior Levi Mills was one stroke back at 56.
The Northwest JV players were also paired up in the match with East Jackson’s varsity team to get in a competitive round. They posted a team score of 258 with scores of 62, 65 and 67 from three freshmen and a 64 from a sophomore.
