The KMS 8th Grade Black Basketball Team came out on top 58 – 42 at home against Western. Thanks to a stifling man to man press, KMS exploded for 22 fourth quarter points while holding to Western to just 5 to put the game away. Coach’s Awards go to Caleb Beyer, Peyton Garner, Nolen Ulch, Javier Campbell, and Landon Rambadt. Caleb nailed a huge outside shot in the third quarter when the game was close. Peyton, Nolen, and Javier played a huge role in the win, especially in the explosive fourth quarter. Landon was arguably the MVP of the game. He scored 9 second half points and played TENACIOUS defense the entire game.
