Multiple Teams · Northwest Introduces New Head Varsity Football Coach Adam Grybauskas

Northwest Community Schools and the Northwest Athletic Department would like to welcome Adam Grybauskas as the new Varsity Football Coach. Grybauskas brings 15 years of Varsity Head Football coaching experience to the Mounties with a career record of 97-54 and 9 playoff appearances in his 15 years. His coaching resume is as follows:

2011-2016 Head Football Coach at Elkton-Pigeon-Bay Port HS – 36-23 record & 3 playoff appearances.

2001-2010 Head Football Coach at Central Lake HS – 61-31 record & 6 playoff appearances.

In addition, Grybauskas was the Varsity Baseball coach at both Central Lake and Elkton-Pigeon-Bay Port winning 4 district titles and 1 State Final Four appearance.

Grybauskas will begin work at Northwest High School on 1/23/17 and will work in the High School Physical Education department working as a Physical Education teacher teaching Phys Ed, Weight Training & Nutrition. Adam is married to Nancy and has 3 children (Isaiah, Braylon, Grace) all of whom will attend Northwest Community Schools. They are excited to be part of Mountie Nation!

There will be a meet and greet in between the Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys basketball games on Friday, January 27th in the cafetorium. Please come and support the basketball teams and meet Coach Grybauskas and his family. We are excited to embrace his WIN NOW mentality!!
