Boys’ Middle School Track Competes at MegaStar Meet

The boy’s middle school track and field team competed yesterday in the highly competitive MegaStar Meet in Shepherd, MI.  This was basically equal to the high school state meet that requires qualifying times, heights and distances.  The meet hosted 64 teams with some of the best middle school track and field athletes from Michigan.

The 4X200 relay team of Devin Kalis, Dawson White, DJ Vanderpool and Anthony Hale placed 14th with a time of 1:47.15.
Devin Kalis was tied for 7th in the Long Jump with a jump of 17′ 2 1/4″.
Devin was also 6th in the 200 Hurdles with a medal performance of 29.04 seconds.
